Sorry about that, since it was a non conference game I should have counted it as a tie, instead of taking the shootout into account.

So your saying we should recieve 3pts for regulation win 2 for ot and shoot out win and 1 point for shoot out loss.

I am fine with using a 3 point system for league games. Do you think that non conference games and tournament games should continue to be scored based on a 2 point system since there are not usually shootouts in non conference games?
Also, you kept a spreadsheet of everybody's total scores last year. I was wondering if you are willing to do that again this year?

If there is a shootout (like in last weeks game) why not use that result?
I'll keep track of the totals again as long as someone does the results.

I will be doing the results every week.
If a shootout is used like last week, I will use that result. In non conference games without shootouts, I will score the games as 3 points for a win, and 1 for a tie to make it easier for scoring purposes.
So the points will go as follows:
3 points for a win, 2 points for a shootout win, and 1 point for a shootout loss, or tie in non conference game that does not utilize a shootout.
There will be 4 columns in the records when I record the scores as follows: win, loss, tie, shootout win. I have edited the results for this week below.
