CC vs. Cornell, Florida College Classic, 12/29

Re: CC vs. Cornell, Florida College Classic, 12/29

Delayed penalty on CC. Dineen pulled down before CC touches the puck. 4 x 4 now.

Re: CC vs. Cornell, Florida College Classic, 12/29

Sounds like Cornell is really struggling with the team speed of CC. 9:20 to go in the period.

Re: CC vs. Cornell, Florida College Classic, 12/29

Third PP for Cornell. Schultz in the box. Cornell takes another penalty. CC now on the PP.

Re: CC vs. Cornell, Florida College Classic, 12/29

CC takes a penalty. Another contact to the head. 4th of the game.

Re: CC vs. Cornell, Florida College Classic, 12/29

Cornell just too slow and too sloppy to contain CC's speed and skill through two periods.

The refs aren't helping matters either...the officiating has been dodgy with multiple botched penalty calls.

The officiating hasn't held us to 6 SOG over 2 periods...

Amazing we're still in it after two el-stinko periods. Hopefully that Greening goal has us back in the game.

Re: CC vs. Cornell, Florida College Classic, 12/29

I wasn't blaming our offensive woes on the refs, but CC's abundance of PP opportunities is another matter ;)

From Jason's audio, the call imbalance seems deserved, even if individual calls might have been dicey. It sounds like we're trying to slow down a faster team with hitting (good) but getting caught a step behind and/or lazy/rusty/sloppy/your unpleasant adjective here.
