Very frustrating weekend. The guys played hard and gave it there all, but they just don't have the fire power.
ECAC starts next week.

Final 4-1. We are not a very good team when we pull the goalie-I would think the idea has to be to control the face off first-then put traffic in front of the net and throw the puck there for a scramble. We just do not do any of that. Our power play has been pathetic (although the last one tonight showed some promise). Saying all that-we never looked like we were badly outplayed by a very good number 3 ranked CC team. We have some work to do-but there is enough talent on this team to play close with anyone. What we need to find is the scorers or snipers to step up and get extra shot on goal that we are missing. I think that starts to happen when we get back JL, Neal, Higgs and OGrady-hopefully for next week up north.

I know we are 1-6. But I see enough talent on this team to expect we will improve as this season moves on. Hopefully we will be healthy soon and be able to put offensive pressure on. Our defense is solid but cannot win the games by themselves.

are currently two positively charged ions. For those who realize the materials do not carry any sort of magnetic properties, pretend they do, work with me here, people. We need to reverse the polarity on one of these. It seems that the puck is repelled by the net. We need to put the two together. And I don't mean the back side. :eek:
