Final 3-1 North Dakota over Duluth. Not particularly helpful for CC in the PWR. Going to need some wins, and some out-of-conference help I think.

That's a wrap, folks. Congrats to the Beavers, who scored three unanswered goals in the third to take the win. That's 5 games in a row for CC with fewer than 3 goals...not gonna cut it. Hoping for the split tomorrow, but with CC's depleted lineup, I just hope they get out of the weekend without any further injury.

Well, CC's down to two years to win their first and only Broadmoor Trophy. It'd be a real shame to leave the WCHA having never won the dumb thing. And since it's looking more and more like that'll be the only way they get into the NCAA tourney this year, maybe this is the year!
