UNH going to the PP with 56.9 seconds left... hooking called against Irwin of UVM.
But now donkey Sislo goes for roughing right after the face-off... great... 8 second PP... nice. Now 4x4 for 1:52.

In the BU-MC game, one of my biggest hockey pet peeves reared its ugly head again........
At the 11:48 mark, MC's Pat Bowen gets called for hooking BU's David Warsofsky. Seems simple enough, right? Nope... Warsofsky also goes.... for diving. Come on, ref!!!! MAKE A DAM N CALL ON YOUR OWN..... IT IS ONE OR THE OTHER... EITHER BOWEN HOOKED HIM OR WARSOFSKY DOVE! SACK UP AND MAKE A FRIGGIN CALL!! SENDING THEM BOTH IS GUTLESS!

I bet you could have gotten sweet odds in Vegas if you bet that UNH would go scoreless for 4 periods after scoring 4 in the 3rd of Game 1. What??? Maybe 100:1??

if you think of it this way, that non-penalty in the first period is telling both teams an important message... No BS tonight boys. If its in the 3rd period its the ref taking the easy way out...

Hard to believe UNH could be 40 minutes away from the offseason. For all the cr@p I've given the team over the years, the fact is their consistency is something to be admired, and this is TWO WEEKS too soon to be wrapping up. Hopefully they can pull it together, though I'd be lying if I said I had a good feeling about this.

Very unfortunate... part of the reason that this round is so tough... there is no real home ice edge. Now, there is the fact that we have a 200x100 sheet should be all the edge we need.
