I thought about that and am almost gonna give that a try. It's a short fly from the woodstove to the front door, but it's a bird. I'm not sure in it's panic if it will fly out the door or somewhere else in the house. Plus I don't want it crapping all over everything as it fly's around in a panic.

Unlikely, but the level of concern the latter is warranted depends on the size of the bird I guess. ;)

Alright, bird in the woodstove update.

It's out. Thing was smarter than I thought. Just flew right out the open door.

Well now that that little incident has been resolved I can focus on the task at hand.
