I kid you not. I guess the stupid thing flew into the chimney and now it's trapped. I'm trying to figure a way of capturing it so I can get it outside. I don't want to just open the door and let it fly out, for obvious reasons.

Actually if it would just die that would really make things a lot easier. When it gets colder later tonight, maybe I'll just light a fire. If that doesn't encourage it to go back from whence it came, nothing will.

Ya, it's sunny and quite warm here today. I was down at the beach earlier.
I thought about that and am almost gonna give that a try. It's a short fly from the woodstove to the front door, but it's a bird. I'm not sure in it's panic if it will fly out the door or somewhere else in the house. Plus I don't want it crapping all over everything as it fly's around in a panic.
