Re: "Car!"
In my youth, a long time ago, we only played baseball in the street and we did yell "Car" when the car came by. I only had to walk about 3 blocks to find a sheet of ice to ply hockey on. I spent a lot of time on the rink in the winter. There were a lot of guys and a few girls who would stay and ply after the warming house closed. The girls had a little harder time playing as they all had figure skates (except for my sister who had a pair of womens hockey skates). It was a lot of fun and kept me out of trouble.
