Canisius @ RPI 10-16-21 Two Wins In A Row Would Be Nice!!!!!!!

Good first period - one defensive lapse led to a goal against on a breakaway but hard to complain when we total 18 shots.

i knew you had either tutored or taught some of the players but unsure when you started.

When I went to grad school in 1968. I am sure that you remember that there was a poster here from the class of 1964, I think, who tutored players including Watson's class. You probably also remember that he passed away and had the stick that Doug Hearns used to score the goal that beat Ken Dryden in December 1968.

Yes - I recall. We have lost a couple of old timers from our threads. I left in '66 but was only across the river in Albany so was back for every home game. I only missed some games after leaving for Boston University for 3 years.

That was a most disappointing period. All momentum was lost once we went down 5 on 3. And never got it back.
Hopefully they will regroup and play the third period like they did the first.

Good teams do just that. These kinds of penalties will happen and the 5 minutes was a big thing but being down 5 on 3 for a full 2 minutes was really the cruncher. And we just about killed that part off when they scored just after the first 2 minutes. I also hope we come out and put that all behind us and become the team we saw in the first period again.
