Re: Campaign 2016 - Run-HRC? Honest Injun? Gott Mitt Himmel? RyanRubioCruzCrud?
Primary day in the NE
Looks like Andrew Cuomo will have a chance to return to the State House 64% of the vote last time I looked.
Scott Brown won the GOP primary in New Hampshire
It looks like Charley Baker vs. Martha Coakley for Massachusetts governor
And John Tierney will be able to enjoy retirement on the taxpayer's expense.
Time for me, Rover aka: Mr. Bipartisanship

to take my fellow libs to the woodshed on this one.
I have to laugh at loud at the whiners at Daily Kos after the primaries were done in NY. I don't quite understand their hatred of Cuomo, who I readily admit might not be the best Dem in the world but there's some screed (maybe from kos himself) about how "only" winning 60%+ of the primary vote dooms his Presidential chances.

Holy crappy analysis Batman. He must be angling with Stu Rothenberg or Charlie Cook for worst overanalysis of any mainstream political writer.
If Cuomo as expected crushes his opponent in the general election, no one is going to give a flying fvk that he only won the primary by a 30% margin. That electoral victory, similar to what Bush did in 1998 in Texas, is what would propel him to a national campaign in a non-Hillary contest. It amazes me some of the conclusions people draw during this election season.
Moving on, I'm going to enjoy Scott Brown go down in flames, followed by legions of male conservatives having to take a cold shower when they can't stare at him any longer.

I think you guys all know what I mean...
Coakley is an awful candidate and I myself will give Charlie Baker a look as Mass Goopers are hardly flaming conservatives. I did vote for Bill Weld twice and was happy to do so.
Lastly, thank God Jon Tierney bit the dust. A completely useless Congressman and a sleazeball to boot. If my wife had $8M bucks of illegal gambling profits in her bank account, I'd be d @mn sure I'd know about it, especially if you're a sitting Congressman. As a Dem, I don't want our own version of Sanford, Duke Cunningham, Bob Ney, etc etc in the caucus. That's why the William Jeffersons of the world needed to lose, even if it flips the seat to the GOP. In this case, idiot Tierney mercifully lost to a solid opponent in the primary and now he and his wife can get back to their lucrative offshore gambling enterprise.
