I am taking nothing for granted (hence why I voted) but when we see that half of Florida has voted (with Latinos and women at higher levels than expected) and Hillary holds the lead that is a good sign. When Nevada has the same thing going on (and she is outpacing Obama's numbers) and even the pundits there are saying he needs every vote on Tuesday to have a shot that is a good sign. When the running line all election season has been "Hillary needs people to vote" and every metric shows engagement is high and early voting is breaking records...yeah I feel good.

Trust me...I know the score. I just dont look at a 2 goal lead as the hardest to protect ;)

No, I know. She's extremely likely to win. I'm just not going to breathe easy until it's over. Not after Brexit. I get that the EC is a major hurdle that Brexit didn't have to contend with.

If she wins I'll be the first to raise my glass in a toast. If she loses, I'll need a different kind of alcohol altogether. And lots of it.

Watched John Oliver. Fantastic. Also, did anyone else notice that one of the GOP "investigators" (Jason Chaffetz) used to work for a pyramid scheme? I knew he was a scumbag.

Dr. Mrs. knows him personally. He is spectacularly unpleasant. What if Darrell Issa was even more of a self-serving charlatan.

I will be teaching til 8...then I plan to drink until its all over. Either I will numb myself to the Fall of the American Empire or drink to us learning from the mistakes of other. Either way I am emptying my bottle of Thomas Jefferson bourbon :D (fitting eh)

When I saw that, I saw his image and the first words out of my mouth were "FU_K THAT ASSH_LE!"

His face is just a trigger for me now.

In my final I Side With quiz, I got:

94% Hillary
94% Stein
30% Johnson
23% Trump
11% Darrell Castle (whoever the hell that is)

Doesn't really matter since I voted two weeks ago, but I thought it would be fun to do one last time.

He just comes off like an actual idiot who has stumbled himself into a position of power and has no idea what to do with it. He doesn't have a thoughtful bone in his body.

If it was the fall of the American Empire I'd be all for it. What it threatens to be is the end of the American Experiment and the extinguishing of "the last best hope of earth."

Germany was the leading intellectual, scientific and philosophical culture when the fascists infected it and turned it into a factory of mass murder and military aggression. We are they. Plus nukes. The world cannot afford an Amexit.
