Campaign 2016 Part XXIV: Both candidates are the same, but here's why yours is awful

Kelly Anne Conway is saying the guy that was beat at the Hitler Youth...errr...Drumpf Rally was actually a Democrat plant. She is as full of crap as her boss.

You'll have to be more specific. Or we talking Sign Guy or the kid with CP?

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXIV: Both candidates are the same, but here's why yours is aw

When I was a lad (I served a term...) the NY ballot would have 15-20 parties, and many candidates were nominees of multiple parties. The Democrat was usually also the Liberal nominee, and the Republican was usually the Conservative and also the RTL nominee.

For lower slots the same candidate might be the nominee of D, R, L, and C! (The RTL would be somebody crazy in that case.)

The ballot was excellent because (1) levers or GTFO!* and (2) the party insignia was also on the line, and some of the obscure parties' sigils were really weird and/or pretty.

* Of the dozen or more voting methods I've used over the years the lever system was by far the most elegant and transparent.

To hell with that. I like Minnesota's ballot. Fill it in with a pen and never have to worry about some stupid voting machine spitting out an incorrect ballot.

I love Drew Magary, but I don't know if he's qualified to be a pundit.

Pretty sure he's talking about the able bodied adult not the 12year old disabled child. I cannot believe we have to be specific when talking about this

Early voting updates:

NV looking good for Dems. I've also read that Gooper insiders are throwing in the towel for the Presidential race in that state and are hoping to salvage the Senate race and two of the contested House seats.

FL turnout should hit 2008 levels based on the EV's thus far. Dems running up lead in both early voting by party, and in polling which suggests NPA's (no party affiliation) are leaning Dem. Urban turnout is also hitting record highs.

http://steveschale.com/

NC has had record EV turnout, driven by unaffiliated whom the local paper thinks are primarily millenials: "The high early turnout is driven by a 40.3 percent surge of unaffiliated voters, many of them millennials, whose candidate selections can’t be deduced from political affiliation because they have disassociated themselves from the two traditional political parties."

IA: Finishes today. Dems have 42K lead over Republicans in ballots requested. Haven't seen any polls on people who've already voted.

OH: Having trouble getting data here. There's a breitbart headline which I won't link saying Hillary leads in polling of early voters but Trump should win on the basis of turnout on election day.

I love Drew Magary, but I don't know if he's qualified to be a pundit.

I am not agreeing with her premise (though I kinda think she is closer than 538 is right now) but this part is gold:

Sure, he has a “path” to victory, if he wins a handful of states he has little chance of winning, slays a dragon, walks across a tightrope while balancing a baseball bat in his tiny palm, and recites the alphabet backwards and in Greek. It’s not akin to missing a chip shot field goal, or an underdog winning the World Series, or any other dumb sports analogy.

Rover,

I saw all those reports (and a few others) and it backs up what the pundits on the ground are saying. (not the ones in the office or on TV) Iowa I believe has said a lot of the Dem requested voters had yet to send them in.

BTW for those who dont know about the disabled boy story Here. At least his crowd didnt beat him I guess...

I dont know about all of you, but I am still waiting for Obama to declare martial law and stay in office for a 3rd term. Frauddy told us it would happen and he is never wrong :D

His timing might be off by a year or two, but he's never wrong! :D

For a campaign full of surprises it sure is a dud that all the GOP could come up with at the end is more emails. And she was cleared again.

Is there anything the GOP can do right? Anything at all? 10 Hours on the stand under oath. Nothing. Russians hacking everything in sight. Nothing. Whitewater. Nothing. All they got Bill on was lying about sex. Everyone lies about sex.

Do we need any more evidence that the GOP shouldn't be spending money on investigations? Any? I wouldn't think so.

That's a false equivocation about Bill and everyone telling lies about sex. The man lost his standing with the SCOTUS over that lie and was found guilty of perjury in Arkansas court, which is no small thing for someone with a Bar license. He perjured himself, which is not something we've all done. Was that a witch hunt disproportionate to what happened? Yes. Was that specific hunt found to be completely meritless? No.

Who said it was meritless?

30 years of investigations and all they got was some semen on a dress. Good work. Martha Stewart goes to jail and somehow the entire economy is destroyed and no one is guilty of anything.

Sex sells.

? He was found guilty of perjury in Arkansas court? Can you please post a link to that? I know he surrendered his law license but that's not the same thing.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXIV: Both candidates are the same, but here's why yours is aw

To get off the Presidential subject- all ready for tomorrow. Did my vote411.org work, have decided on all parts of the ballot.

And plan on not listening to the news until Wed if I can make it. Maybe look into the news at 10pm tomorrow to see if there's a prediction. But I'm so very tired of this, and don't wish to give the "infotainment" industry more advertising money. They've had a great year and a half with this election.

I just researched it, and I was wrong on the perjury conviction in Arkansas. It doesn't change the fact that he did it and lost his standing with the SCOTUS.

Good luck, but I'm sure the gunshots will tip you off.

What the hell happened to the Senate races?

Something flipped right about the time the FBI news broke.

Pretty much a toss up. Unless there is something new. Meet The Press this Sunday had it going about 51-49 Dems. Somehow two ****tards (Portman and Rubio) are going to win easily. Indiana is probably lost as well.
