Campaign 2016 Part XX: Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right.

No one is undecided between Trump and Clinton. They're undecided between Johnson and Trump, Clinton and Stein, Lizard People and Mickey Mouse.

There are also people that haven't decided if they're going to vote at all. Unfortunately, the group that has decided not to probably grows with each one of these "debates."

I am most certainly not voting. That was decided a lonnnnnnnng time ago. IF I vote, I'm just going to write someone in, basically as a worthless protest vote. I cannot vote for Trump or Hillary in any sort of good conscience.

I haven't met anybody who won't vote, but I have met lifelong Republicans who are deciding whether to leave it blank, vote for Johnson, or write in Mickey Mouse. In all cases, they'll still vote GOP downticket.

I give you the official campaign website of one Pogo Mochello Allen-Reese. It is possible that he's in the middle of an actual psychotic break with reality, but he's a declared candidate, hopefully on your state ballot.

That was only a "zinger" for his followers, like the fifth grader who "wins" a schoolyard rank contest by saying "that's because you're a faggot!"

Everyone else was thinking, "Jesus H. Christ, don't let this dunce near the button."

Agreed!

After discussing it with the gf I believe Hillary was at her best when she let the facts speak for themselves. When Drumpf rambled he sounded off kilter and the lies were dripping down his chin. When she would respond with "well there is so many things to fact check we would be here all night" or "I think those comments speak for themselves" she looked her best. When she kept going and rambled in response she looked like she was reaching and way too easily got off point. To e, what I always hated about her is that she never seems to trust the average person to know the truth. We dont need her to explain why he is lying or how he has no real point to his comments, we dont need you to hold our hand and push us the right direction. State the the fact (or ignore his lies) and trust we will think for ourselves. The ones who wont arent voting for you anyways. Stick to the facts and the truth and you will win by a landslide.

she never gets that though, that is why instead of coming out and saying you are sick you go into hiding and then ****ed near pass out at the memorial for 9/11. Admit you are a bit worn out we have all been there. We have seen what running for Prez can do, trust us to understand and you dont look like you are hiding something.

Well said.

I mentioned on the Tweeter, let the media do the dirty work, stick to the facts, period. Easy win. She didn't quite do that tonight.

And not that it SHOULD matter but it does. Mentioned her body language earlier. It was MARKEDLY different at the start compared to the finish. It was obvious forced smiles and holding back at first, then not even hiding her anger/frustration/etc at the end. She was P*ED.

See now I like that...she comes off as fake when she is pretending to enjoy her self. She had a right to be ****ed he attacked her family, accused her of covering up and enabling her husband's predations and said he is going to throw her in jail. Do you understand how out of the realm ridiculous that is...he flat out said he is going to hire a special prosecutor to investigate her and throw her in jail for something the FBI and the Justice Department have already said wasnt a criminal act.

The man is breaking new ground in divisiveness, and he is treating his opponent worse (when it comes to respect) than any I have seen in my lifetime. You didnt see this kind of stuff 200 years ago and they still used to have duels back then

I didn't get the feeling of tension at the end. I agree about the false smile at the beginning. There was one excellent moment for her, though -- the immediate answer to Pussygate:

Well, like everyone else, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking over the last 48 hours about what we heard and saw. You know, with prior Republican nominees for president, I disagreed with them on politics, policies, principles, but I never questioned their fitness to serve.

Donald Trump is different. I said starting back in June that he was not fit to be president and commander-in-chief. And many Republicans and independents have said the same thing. What we all saw and heard on Friday was Donald talking about women, what he thinks about women, what he does to women. And he has said that the video doesn’t represent who he is.

But I think it’s clear to anyone who heard it that it represents exactly who he is. Because we’ve seen this throughout the campaign. We have seen him insult women. We’ve seen him rate women on their appearance, ranking them from one to ten. We’ve seen him embarrass women on TV and on Twitter. We saw him after the first debate spend nearly a week denigrating a former Miss Universe in the harshest, most personal terms.

So, yes, this is who Donald Trump is. But it’s not only women, and it’s not only this video that raises questions about his fitness to be our president, because he has also targeted immigrants, African- Americans, Latinos, people with disabilities, POWs, Muslims, and so many others.

So this is who Donald Trump is. And the question for us, the question our country must answer is that this is not who we are. That’s why — to go back to your question — I want to send a message — we all should — to every boy and girl and, indeed, to the entire world that America already is great, but we are great because we are good, and we will respect one another, and we will work with one another, and we will celebrate our diversity.

These are very important values to me, because this is the America that I know and love. And I can pledge to you tonight that this is the America that I will serve if I’m so fortunate enough to become your president.

This was after Trump's non-answer deflection which led to Anderson Cooper saying, to a nominee for president:

"You bragged that you had sexually assaulted women. Do you understand that?"

Dr. Mrs. said that juxtaposition destroyed Trump with what few women he has left above the Deplorable Mendoza Line (below which are genderless bigots just voting their prejudice).

The other moment she was great was addressing the Muslim woman. Again, the contrast could not have been greater: an adult, informed answer true to our values contrasted with Biff Tannen's adolescent stupidity.

The underlined has carried over to other appearances, and I think that's a big thing amongst the voters: politicians are fakes.

If you're a jerk, be a jerk. Just get the job done. If you sound like an a-hole, sound like an a-hole. Get the job done. Probably a big part of why Trump has the followers he does. He may be a total doosh, but he's not pretending to be something he's not (and you all know what I mean). Hillary is NOT a glad-handler like Bill. It's not her style. Embrace your style, and again, show that you can get the job done.

If your option is stay home or write in as a protest, I say write in.

Not that this isn't already well known, but the Ds and Rs need to know how bad they ****ed up. I'd rather people vote Hillary to make sure that Trump loses, but if a significantly large portion of people vote for a different option, that 5, 10, 15, whatever percent will have a meaning.

The second worst outcome is Trump and Clinton collectively getting over 95% of the popular vote, which would make the parties feel vindicated in their options.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XX: Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right.

The first answers by BOTH candidates were non-answers. I was more than disappointed.

His answer to the Muslim woman was epic...we will stop Islamaphobia if you turn in all the Muslims doing bad things!! Then we need to EXTREMELY VET the immigrants!!

The split screens when he talked were great...she looked in disbelief that anyone would vote for this guy. When she talked he made kissing faces or wagged his finger!

I gotta say though, if I was the Clintons I just show his going after the moderators and use to show how unhinged he was. He openly questioned their integrity from the stage. if the man cant even handle Anderson Cooper telling him his time is up how the hell is going to deal with Foreign Diplomats? They have been on point with their post debate/post scandal ads and there is plenty to use...hell he admitted he didnt pay taxes cut that up and put it on a loop!

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XX: Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right.

The remarkable thing is, Trump is the biggest fake of them all. One of the most effective ways a con man insinuates himself with the mark is to say, "that guy over there thinks you're a mark, but I know you're smart..." That's why it's called a confidence man. He earns people's trust to fleece them. And the two time-honored ways to do that are appeal to vanity and invoke a third party threat to pretend to be brothers in arms with the mark to fight against.

That is fine and dandy in states that are decided...but I disagree 100% if it is a battleground state. I love protest votes but in this election a protest vote truly is a vote for the other side.
