  • "Sir, I am not worth of your Purple Heart." *pin it back on his lapel* "You should wear this with pride. Thank you for your service."

Unfortunately, Joe Biden did not run in the Republican primaries.

So, tl;dwtr: Both sides have PC totems. Liberals may be in control of campuses now, but in the past the shoe has been on the other foot and I didn't heard cries for intellectual freedom from the right. Likewise, there are plenty of public spaces still riddled with conservative prohibitions. The criticism of soldiers or cops or Christianity will get you a sock in the nose in plenty of places. Community standards all too frequently define what is permitted to be said, and we should fight against that whether the would-be transgressor is left or right. Voltaire and all that jazz.

The foaming at the mouth of the kneeling for the anthem is proof of that. Both sides have seem to live by "FREE SPEECH IS THE TOP RIGHT...unless I hate your speech than HOW DARE YOU SPEAK FREELY!!?!??!?!!1!!!"

Drumpf would never hire the right person for that...he doesnt care about PR and that is PR101. He believes any PR is good PR...which has served him well enough to lose ;)

True, but Drumpf also gets free of him. Drumpf can be happy White Supremacists support til the cows come home but in public he needs to walk away from it not tacitly thank them by saying nothing.

I hope Kevin Kline made enough from that movie to last him several lifetimes. Highly underrated actor IMHO.
