You're talking about the substance of the matter, which doesn't mount to a hill of beans to a great many people during an election. Some news agency or morning show can splice a nasty reply out of the recording and loop it for all to see. It creates a perception of a woman that's unhinged. There's not much you can do to combat such a situation, should she allow it to happen.

Right but it took 8 hours to get that 1 moment...you do know how long a debate usually goes right? Not to mention it took an entire committee asking the same ridiculous questions over and over again to make it happen. While the chances arent zero that will happen I would say it is 1:1000. It is an apples and oranges comparison they dont even parallel and that is what the point is.

That doesn't really matter -- the Echo Chamber will invent a moment. They take some gesture or expression or remark and put it on psycho loop and just pull a narrative out of their butt. Do you really think reality is going to stop those guys?

This is their last chance to save all those BS policies they've managed to foist on the country for the last 36 years. It could be the last chance to save corporate bribery under Buckley v. Valeo. Short of flat out stealing it, this is their best chance to influence the election.

They can invent all they want to...it isnt working and it wont going forward. No one has bought any of this crap for months because Drumpf cant get out of his own way. Preaching to the choir isnt going to win them the election the numbers have been proving that for months. The only people buying it are the people in the Echo Chamber no one who breathes normal air is taking the bait.

Put aside your fear for a second and look at the facts...for all of 2016 the Echo Chamber has been using BS clips and ****ed near outright lies to try and take The Shrill down. Sure it works for a nanosecond then she goes right back up. All the while the person they are trying to prop up can barely move the needle even in the polls that are biased towards him. Hell every time they find the ALL NEW CLINTON SCANDAL the nimrod cant even stand not being in the spotlight so he has to do something just dumb enough to let her off the hook.

This isnt about whether they make her look like a loon...they can have fun making up funny little clips and pretending they mean something. The point is she isnt going to crack under the pressure like North Dakota Boy thinks she will. As long as she doesnt, no one in the real world is going to care about whatever manufactured controversy Faux and Rush come up with...just like they didnt with Obama and they havent with Hillary since she owned the committee during the farce of an investigation.

Johnson recently lost the entire "liberal" wing of the libertarian-leaning voters by coming out in favor of federally enforced immunization requirements. If they have a single issue, that's it*. It's getting a lot of coverage in those places where the hippies congregate online, and means that Hillary will pick up 4% that Johnson is losing.

*I mean besides the pot, of course.

Not sure about that. In my experience there are anti-vax fruit cakes on both the left and the right.

All it takes is one exchange like this, that few American voters have seen, during the debate.

Worse? Trump is perceived as ranting and raving all the time. Anything less than that is good for him. Anything like the Benghazi comments and gesticulations harms Hillary on live, national TV.

Do I think Trump can drive her there? Nope. But he'll try.

She made whoever that senator was there look pretty dumb.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XVII: If debates are great theater, I think this one closes e

LOL. Trump's not even pretending. He hired David Bossie as D/CM. Bossie is the "dirt guy" who has specialized on the Clintons all the way back to Whitewater. This is the equivalent of hiring the "I'm not saying it's aliens" dude as a special investigator of Area 51.

Of course, when you shove so many vaccinations in a person that they become autistic...
While I try not to be baited in any of these threads, as someone in healthcare, I can't resist responding.

THIS IS NOT A THING

Here is a link with 9 studies debunking it. In addition, there are a number of research articles coming out now that demonstrate that the number of autistic adults is comparable to the rate of diagnosis of children. It wasn't called autism when they were younger and there wasn't an autism spectrum to place these patients on. Amazingly, with advances in medicine, we're able to suss out new disorders and diseases.

Dont engage the Frauddy...or if you must point out how he is spineless and wont admit all of his BS conspiracy theories are always proven wrong. He is a loon :D

Kepler,

When were they pretending?

I never said that. Go back. I state plainly that Trump's stress line is lower than Hillary's. He'll go off before her. Can he use that to tip her over is the question.

The key here is that Hillary has been pushed to that point before. Yes, it took a lot to get here there. But it has happened.

So it comes down to: Is being beside Donald Trump in full roar for 90 minutes more annoying to Hillary than a House sub-committee for a day?

Hillary absolutely killed a very hostile Benghazi House subcommittee with her calm, logical responses. Trump is child's play in comparison. She knows he is childish in his name calling approach. I'll be shocked if she loses her cool. In fact, her coaches will probably ask her to show some emotion on occasion to address the perception that she is a calculating machine.

But then I'm just a North Dakota boy.

Trump is in a bit of a catch-22. He has to be his brash, loud, bullying style because that's what his supporters want. On the other hand, that's what turns off everybody else. The coverage will either be "Timid Trump Keeps Bluster Contained" or "Out Of Control Trump Spews Insanity".

People don't always realize that partisan pundits already have their themes to hit in the post debate analysis even if they all work for different networks. Case in point was how flipping channels after the Biden-Ryan debate every right wing pundit was saying Biden was too hard on Ryan. Either they all miraculously came to the same analysis independent of each other, or they got word if Ryan did poorly to chalk it up to Biden being too overbearing. Fortunately the voters didn't seem to care that Biden slapped the little wuss around for a bit. ;)

Likewise, left leaning Dem pundits are already going to have their script written post debate. Either Trump wilted under pressure (if he's low key), or he was a deranged lunatic (if he acts like himself). :D

The Echo Chamber coordinates its responses with the GOP campaign. It's the same people in that revolving door -- they're all on the same team.

There is no "analysis" on RWNJ media. It's just another arm of the campaign. That is explicitly what it was set up to do: Ailes et al were butthurt over the media reporting on Watergate and they wanted a media cadre which they would pay and order around. They would raise an entire generation of voters in an alternative reality so that no matter what the facts were, they would control the messaging and the voter response. Obviously this also meant they had to make any other source of information a taboo so no fresh air could get in by mistake.

It worked for 20 years but recently the inmates have risen up and taken over the asylum, and now the GOP insiders who created the system can't control them anymore. It would all be funny if it wasn't so dangerous.
