Campaign 2016 Part XVII: If debates are great theater, I think this one closes early

If none of them has gotten traction up to now, Hillary saying it in her robotic staged lawyer voice will?

Yes, because Trump gets to answer in front of 60M people, not in front of wussy journalists afraid to ask a follow up question. Really, who wouldn't like to see Trump get a good arse kicking? :D

Brexit isn't a good analysis. Britain has been agitating for an exit to the EU for years. When they elected a govt (the Tories) with a majority who specifically ran on a "lets have a Brexit vote" platform, what the hell did people think were going to happen?

Trump could get his arse kicked, and the folks with an IQ less than 100 would think he somehow won.

Brexit isn't a good analysis.

Brexit + Merkel getting stomped is.

Brexit took me from "Trump has no chance" to "He's got a pulse".
The Merkel Mauling at the polls last week gets Trump off the ventilator but he's still in critical care ICU (with a doctor named Kevorkian).

So why has not one person come forward here to say they will vote for the GOP candidate?

Well, that is pretty much 50% of the population by definititon...

But what do you expect? These are people too dumb to understand that they're going to get to go to college for free!

All's fair in war and smears, I suppose.

EDIT: There are certainly stupid liberals out there - just put on a Green Party t-shirt, and bum around any college campus for a day; you'll find them. However, stupid conservatives, by and large, do an excellent job of making their presence much more broadly known.

When are you putting up the September poll?

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XVII: If debates are great theater, I think this one closes e

Seems like we are looking at conclusive proof that everyone on this board either thinks Clinton has it in the bag or they prefer her as a candidate. Nobody will say they are voting for Trump, and Trump is the only way to keep Clinton out of the WH.

I do them from around the 23rd through the last day of the month, but this time I was thinking I should wait to start it after the debate, to avoid buyer's remorse.

Guarantee at least a few of the libertarians here fall in the denial-ican category of this cartoon. http://leftycartoons.com/2010/06/29/the-24-types-of-libertarian/

...and that is why I stopped politically identifying as a "libertarian" (even small 'l') after I graduated from MTU. Too many fringe facets that think their worldview entitles them to claim the term "libertarian", when in reality they are one-issue voters. Also, I stopped drinking the Kool-Aid, and realized that pure laissez faire economics is a joke.
