Better than that? Kep* admits he's voted for the Libertarian VP candidate in a state election.

Heck, I voted for Harry Browne for president. Twice. Once while a member of this board. :p

What a long, strange trip it's been.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XII: What Have We Done To Deserve This?

Yeah knucks', I just don't believe you guys. Not for one minute. Maybe you'll tell yourselves that right up to election day, when you "accidentally" mark the ballot for Trump. Kinda how nobody voted for GWB.

You guys are ideologically aligned with Trump. Might as well vote for the man. Own it!!! :D

I'm told no one here watches FNC nor listens to Rush, Glenn...

Most of them turned into whiny little female dogs. As much as some may enjoy poutrage, I'd rather have radio silence and enjoy my surroundings.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XII: What Have We Done To Deserve This?

You must have selective reading (or memory). I'm voting for Gary Johnson because the major parties have given us nothing this year.

Don't you know? Anyone who doesn't 100% support the commie machine is an evil republican.

*Kepler has the starboard side directionals removed from his vehicles before he picks them up from the dealer. Why? He's never needed them. He's never turned right. ;) :D

So THAT'S why he likes NASCAR so much snd why he only drinks port!! :D

I don't even know what that means. Trump's "ideology" is Trump. Narcissism is not an idea.

Viewed another way, Trump's "ideology" is that he is not Hillary Clinton. That aligns pretty well with the ideology of "Hillary Clinton is the devil."

Trump's ideology is a bit deeper than that. Restore white privilege. Tax cuts for the rich - at the expense of everybody else. No gun control. Anti science.

Trump sums up modern day conservatism, practiced by USCHO righty posters. What's the difference between his agenda and say Mittens, with the one exception of being anti-trade deals? Nothing, but Trump is just more overt and frankly honest about it.

What I read there is that Trump's ideology is one that will bring more votes back to Trump. He has a personal stake in each and every one of those things you listed.

I agree. His agenda and the GOP's dovetail quite nicely. I'm going to let Senator Warren's words make the point far better than I can (sorry Kep)...

"Where do you suppose that Donald Trump got the idea that he can personally attack judges regardless of the law whenever they don't bend to the whims of billionaires and big businesses? He's a Mitch McConnell kind of candidate ... He is exactly the kind of candidate you'd expect from a Republican Party whose script for several years has been to execute a full scale assault on the integrity of our courts, blockading judicial appointments so Donald Trump can fill them. Smearing and intimidating nominees who do not pledge allegiance to the financial interests of the rich and powerful. Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell want Donald Trump to appoint the next generation of judges. They want those judges to tilt the law in favor of big businesses and billionaires like Donald Trump. They just want Donald Trump to quit being so vulgar and obvious about it."

1000% correct. How is Trump different than Romney-McCain-BushII-Dole-BushI-Reagan? He's more upfront about it. And conservative voters enable this behavior.

And Ms. Warren doesn't want her side to appoint the next generation of judges? (And heavens, she wouldn't want those to tilt the law, say, in her favored viewpoint, would she?)

2000: Too young (but I did get made fun of in our AP Stats class when I said that Bush would be one of the worst presidents ever. Prescient.)
2004: Kerry
2008: McCain  :o
2012: Obama
2016: Clinton

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XII: What Have We Done To Deserve This?

So you're a right wing shill who likes to smoke dope. Good for you.

I'm glad you know me so well.

I only look "right wing" to someone as left as what is the common "Pravda" here; and I've never smoked anything in my life. Heck, the hardest thing I've done in my life is vodka or a prescription muscle relaxant (after I tore up a shoulder). I guess that's just more proof that I'm conservative, eh?
