Right why try and get what you want when you can get nothing you want and claim a Pyrrhic Victory! Screw whether it will hurt others (or all of us) she has a D after her name so I win!

The old, trite "there's not a dimes worth of difference between the two parties" - George Wallace, circa 1968. Lets just say only a total idiot doesn't see a difference between a Clinton and a Cruz (or take your pick) Presidency and we'll leave it at that. ;)

The little things may be different, but the big picture in the end is the same. They're just two doors to the same slaughterhouse; you just get to choose whether to have your head cut off, or be burned at the stake.

You may have sold out but I never will. Then again I actually care about others and you and the other Cyborg Disciples only care about one upping the knucks. At least you got your talking points in line...finally found the right Political Mad Libs I see :D

That attitude got us 8 years of GW. The Worst Presidency in the history of the United States.

Handy, if Flagdude having the same view as you doesn't scare you straight, I don't know what will! :D

Immigration, environmental protection, global warming, health care, voter suppression, science funding, reproductive rights, and war with Iran are hardly "little things," and the parties differ significantly on each.

Bernie > Hillary > any Republican still means Hillary > any Republican.

Are you only 7 years old? Cause you sure weren't alive for the Bush Administration.

All of those are little things. They all result in a world government enslaving the populace, which is the big picture.

This isn't fair to Handy. There's a big difference between casting a protest vote in a battleground state and pointing out, 18 months out from the election, that the presumptive nominee is weak or even wrong on some critical issues.

Everyone debating this has some portion of the elephant (even Flaggy, who may just be doing a bit, has at least one cogent criticism). Building an election day majority consists of rallying the base and also adding on a few "fellow traveler" fringe groups. Hillary needs Rover and Scooby and Handy and me to win, and I believe that's possible.

World government is a diversion. The reality of an elite playing the rest of us against each other to maintain their privileges is already here. Education and democracy are two tools we can use to lessen their control and give more people political, commercial and moral self-determination. But using those tools also means agreeing to get your hands dirty rather than just standing on some ivory perch dispensing gnomic epithegms.

You gonna fight, or whine?

Painting world cooperation as world government is a reason we are in a constant state of near war and also why the US govt (against your wishes) is larger than it needs to be.

And who, do you think, is going to enforce said "cooperation"?

They gave it a good run: 325 - 1648.

There's probably a few other religions that do it as well.

Religion isn't always the issue. Most of the time, it's the people with power that use it as a crutch.

The same can be said of consent of the governed, but ounce for ounce I'll still take it.

There was an assignment from some college, can't remember where it was, but it made the rounds on the alternative sites where the student had been failed because she didn't write about why Christianity was so awful because of the repression of women and other factors. If you use the teachings of the four Gospels as citation, it'd be easy enough to show that it wasn't Christianity that was the issue, but the two points we had just made. Of course you have to in clude consent of the governed, otherwise where does Martin Luther's role take place?

No it didnt. Keep on trying to justify selling out though you and Rover look as loony as the righties you mock :D Telling people to "Vote for Candidate X because they arent Candidate Y" sounds awfully like the GOP mantra of voting against all things Obama. Good work Loonies!!

Keep on blaming the failure of the Dem candidates on everyone but the Dems and their candidates...its a bold strategy! It wasnt Kerry's fault he lost it is the people who refused to vote for him because he was a two faced, weak kneed weasel! It wasnt Gore's fault he lost it was the people who didnt find him to be liberal or honest and questioned his ability to lead. (not to mention his support of censorship, his distancing himself from Clinton and his inability to even carry his home state)

You guys probably think speaking of a no hitter actually prevents no hitters dont you ;)
