Because I know I would contemplate suicide or moving to Canada at that point. Whichever is least worst at the time.

Still think Hillary is going to win when Kentucky elects the scumbag they did for Governor??? This is a state who's Governorship has been owned by the Democrats pretty much for the last 100+ years.

Yes. They've been Blue in the Governor's office for decades and now they went full DERP. And the #1 issue Derp ran on? Gay marriage.

They also voted for McCain and Romney overt Obama by something like 20 points, so it's not like this was a state Hillary was going to take anyway. If anything, it's a sign that national party affiliation may be correlated with local politics more than before, not that there's another GOP wave coming in 2016.

Louisiana's runoff in two weeks will be a better sign, since the D candidate is up by 10 or 12 points or so. If they blow that one, then you start getting worried.

Dude, you live in a state that had 20 years of a Republican in the governor's mansion and voted Democrat in the presidential race since 72. Use your head man!

Wow -- Justin Trudeau is now Canada's Prime Minister. I still think he's Obama-lite, but I like his choice for one cabinet post. There may be hope yet. :D

Since 2008 Democrats have lost 910 seats across the country.

However, what he failed to mention is EVERY President leaves office with smaller representation than when he got in, EVEN St. Reagan! I know, the shock of that statement...

Win the WH and the Senate goes with it. Then Dems would have controlled the Presidency for 12 years and the Senate for 10 out of 12. That leads to control of the courts. Regarding the states while Scoobs has a point in places like Florida and Ohio where the state parties need to do much, much better, otherwise he's spewing nonsense. States like Maine and New Jersey are going to have a pretty quick snapback once their deeply unpopular governors leave office. I'd also look at places like Nevada and New Mexico where popular sorta moderate Goopers are term limited.
