Business, Economics, and Taxes: Eat Cereal for Dinner

I thought so too, until I tried it

Its already happening. You are right in that it shouldnt because AI is nowhere near ready, but AI is replacing people at a pretty rapid rate in quite a few industries.
It absolutely isn’t. Those jobs aren’t being replaced, they’re being eliminated and the responsibilities are transferred no different than any other layoff.

No they aren't. I can tell you for a fact that isn't the case. Positions in education (not teachers) are using AI in lieu of people in positions that were previously held by people. The arts are seeing it, lower level journalism is using it along with tech. Fade gave one example of many. I know people that (stupidly) run their business using AI instead of people for their back of house ops.

This isn't stuff I'm just seeing from outside sources I have seen it personally. You can couch it however you like but jobs that were human 5 years ago are AI run now...and it's growing. Choose to believe it or not.

It can't be the haggis, right? It has to be the spices on it? Intestine is just nature's PVC.
I mean, it’s a combination of the spices but also the meat. Hard to explain. But I’ve also never had haggis that was like any other haggis. Every recipe has been different. All great.

I will choose to not believe it because it’s just not the case. Those peoples jobs are just being eliminated.

Truth. I have had it half a dozen times, always different and always delicious :)

Look, I'm just saying that if we eat one or two of them the rest will get the message...
No they wont...they wont get the message until we are eating them. The French didn't get it until the storming of the Bastille. Once the capital wasn't safe then the nobility and aristocracy started fleeing.

You want the rich to freak out...it needs to be a threat they can't handle. They will spend $10 million to protect themselves or flee to their yachts and private planes. We need a shift of the civil order...something no one can escape.

I propose a reverse Squid Games/Hunger Games/Running Man type of deal where every billionaire is assigned a number and the rest of us get to hunt them. Televise it, even allow gambling. The game ends when the last billionaire is killed. Whoever kills the most billionaires wins. To make it fair, the billionaires can be spared by just giving up their obscene wealth and becoming an ordinary citizen again.

There are still some details to work out, but we can figure those out as we go. The important thing is testing it out. Hey, I know just the guy who loves to try new things...
