That's hilarious. Needs to be used as an anchor around any future Gooper challengers for governor since I'm sure they'll all be Scott Walker disciples, as well as on brilliant businessman Donald Trump. Why isn't he bullying Foxconnartists into living up to their agreement?

Walker and fellow Rs will, of course, say things unraveled because a D was elected Governor.

Walker was bad, bad medicine.

I fail to see the problem here...

Probably most Americans outside of Manhattan and the Beltway don't either.

French wine is subject to a 25% import tariff if bottled in 2L or smaller bottles.

A company in Florida gets around the tariff by ordering a tanker load of wine and bottling it themselves.

Trump's trade policy is so screwed up. There's a tariff on electrical parts used to build lights for bicycles. So companies in the US that import these parts and assemble the lights here in America, with American workers, get hit with the the fees.

Completely assembled lights exported from Chinese companies have no tariffs. Making them even cheaper to sell here in America.

Trade wars are easy to win! ...So long as Trump's not on your side.

This is the kind of thing my coworkers would actually understand. The Dems should be getting this out there at the word of mouth level. I will research it and learn to answer questions and cite sources about it and talk to the locals.

Yes but Louise Linton was able to afford a coat made of baby panda fur so it was all worth it.

I heard a startling statistic this morning. Capital investments were down over 15%. That's bad. Every one of those dollars gets spent multiple times over and generates revenue for the companies. It's also a sign that companies across the board are hoarding cash for the pending storm.

It's preparatory and probably necessary, but it has the effect of either causing or worsening the recession.

oof.

Edit: It was business spending on structures that was down 15%. Equipment was down 3.8%.
Edit 2: spending on structures was down 11.1% in Q2 too

My company is about to make large cuts. They’ve done a great job of keeping it out of the public

Correction: The STATED purpose of the tax cuts was business investment. Actual purpose: Baby panda coats for the 0.1%.

FYI farmers. It’s all the Fed fault, not the tariff war!
