Saying we have spent $2.2 trillion to bail out Wall Street = accurate
Saying Medicare 4 All will turn us into Venezuela /= accurate.

I don't see how anyone could argue with that. That's all true.

I'm here because it's my job. Also because there isn't much else to do when I'm socially distancing. The Gideon campaign asked me to canvass this weekend but that seemed like a really bad idea at this point in time (and canvassing was subsequently canceled).

Re: Business, Economic, and Tax Policy 9: No, No, No, We Compost The Rich

Fed has announced a second bump to the market today after announcing one late yesterday.

This would be the third in a week.

Also: repeated people on CNBC continue to emphasize that "this wasn't the bottom, no one cam predict the bottom, STOP TRYING TO GUESS WHEN THE BOTTOM WILL BE.

How much did they spend on stock buy backs last few years while rolling in fees?

“ U.S. airlines are asking for more than $50 billion in federal assistance amid the economic uncertainty caused by the dramatic decrease in passenger traffic due to the coronavirus outbreak.”

Re: Business, Economic, and Tax Policy 9: No, No, No, We Compost The Rich

"We'll hold the deaths down..."

Oh my God. We have Lee Iacoccoa Jr running the nation.

Re: Business, Economic, and Tax Policy 9: No, No, No, We Compost The Rich

LOL Picturing little Eric Trump asking Donald: "Daddy, how bad is this going to get?"

Markets responding accordingly. Nose diving in the last half hour of trading so far. As of 2:40 CDT Dow -11.6%, S&P -10.8 and falling.

No circuit breakers in the last half hour of trading, so this will go until bell close in 20 more minutes.

Yup, Dow down 400+ points since the start.

Five minutes to go, and the Dow is now down below its lowest point at 9:50 AM. Down almost 3000 today. (12.21) and falling.

There was a slight bump when the adults spoke, but it started falling again when Trump resumed.
