Far be it from me to say it, since I've only followed BU hockey since 2006, but that was likely one of the best periods in BU history

I think the 3rd period in the 2009 national.championship was slightly better.

hmmm. 1996 beanpot final vs nu. BU outscored them 6-0 in the 2nd (period ended 11-3, us). it was like the whole period we were standing and clapping along with the band after another goal. jp got to come in and play in his final beanpot later on that night.
(final MINUTE of the 3rd period that last game in 09 was the 'best minute' in BU history
