BU Hockey '25-'26: Can we keep up the run to Vegas?

I noticed the same thing. I was at the Frozen Four, in St. Louis, in the same row as some scouts. When Eiserman scored against Western Michigan, he literally threw his teammates off of him to go celebrate by himself.

When I mentioned it to one scout, he said: "We all saw that." With a look on his face that said: "I don't want that on MY team."
I never noticed that. I hope I get to see it several times tomorrow night and judge it.

So you made me go back to look at that game (thanks  ) and I think what you are insinuating is thin. Yes, he threw off his linemates, but I think he was just trying to get away from the goal area so there wasn't a scrum with Western Michigan. Once he got away from there he stopped and celebrated with his linemates before skating towards the bench.

Agreed on Eiserman. I feel like there was a play last year in the NCAAs where Cole Hutson made a phenomenal play and dished to Eiserman for an easy tap in and he acted a little too much like it was all his doing. I know it is partly just the culture today, but I don't like it.

The bar is low people. I just want to see them score a freakin' goal tonight. And not when it's already 4-0 BC.

Just to break up Cole Eiserman Hate Week.....

Believe it or not, we do have BC tonight. If anyone has a little over an hour to themselves, I'd recommend listening to this podcast from the BC Hockey blogger ("the kid"). He is joined by Bernie Corbett and they have a great discussion on BC/BU history and the current state of college hockey. https://t.co/jDtNMzk93G

Maybe last chance to spark some type of a run? Now that everyone is "fully healthy" and no suspensions! Would be nice to see "projected overall #1 draft pick" (by one guy) Lawrence start to get more comfortable with the college game and produce more.

As for Eiserman? I really don't think he is an issue. While I have been concerned about his production since his injury, he wears his heart on his sleeve and seems to care a lot. Frankly, this offense is not scoring enough for me to care that much whether someone is celebrating "the correct way" or not.

If there was a game tomorrow at Conte, I would say he would have that shut out there. BU hardly ever has a good game at Agganis. And BU has played like crap at home lately.
If it was at Conte we'd put on our tin foil hats and we'd be discussing whether the guy that opens the rink door for the visiting team is trying to sabotage BU and if Big Mike learned his lesson. But alas, it's at BU. Sure BC does pretty well there but Big Mike seems to be having a bad season and everyone can score on him but BC.

Fun fact of the day, Big Mike has a .971 save percentage and a 1.68 GAA against BC in two career games.

Somehow BC has weathered the transition far better at this point so I do put it on coaching and character too. Look at the jump that Letourneau has made arguably the most impactful player in HE. Who on BU has progressed? I see fallback instead from the 2 Cole’s , Sasha, Yegerov. Michigan is super young and is #1 in the country in a much tougher league. There isn’t one player on BU right now that looks NHL ready. Lachance leaving early despite his size was a way over estimate of his readiness but maybe he just didn’t want to be in college anymore.
