BU Hockey '25-'26: Can we keep up the run to Vegas?

Man, does this team not work on things during the week? We absolutely stink in our own zone. Learned nothing from last weekend. Going nowhere fast. Ugh…
 
I am fine with the announcers the color woman knows her hockey former BU player and she’s been calling them out appropriately. Can’t stand Linehan and his corny diatribe
 
Hard to celebrate an OT win against Merrimuck, and the defense still looked terrible, but Big Mike was mostly better (putting aside the second goal miscue). Maybe something to build on. And EIserman and Roukanakis back soon.

The team still has a long way to go for sure. Big Mike was better (except for that giveaway behind the net of course, that was bad).

Slap passes to sticks and hands of steel.... no ability to receive and cushion a pass, Still playing without confidence. It has to, and I believe will, get better but it's painful to watch.
 
Happy they won and all but jeez. Puck in the offensive zone with just under 40 seconds left and they don’t win the faceoff. And then another miscue that lead to a Merrimack breakaway. Huuuuuge save by Big Mike. Should have never been in that position though.

You just need to face that Pandolfo sucks.
 
They’re not a very good hockey team right now. They’re still a mess in their own end and lack cohesion.

And on a more important note. My GOD are those Merrimack sweaters ugly. Who signed off on that dreck?

The Mack sweaters get uglier the longer you look at them. I think they are trying to blind their opponents.
 
Lone long time Merrimack fan here. Based on the highlights, looks like the Warriors were in it throughout, and could have won it at the end if Danneault finishes that breakaway. Big save by Big Mike.
A Hutson scoring in OT is a bit of deja vu (see also '23 Hockey East championship, Hutson, Lane)
Mack dominated the faceoffs which was really a surprise. Has that been an issue for the Terriers this season?
And agree with the assessment of the "sweaters". Someone must have gotten a new set of highlighters while making the decision.

Seems like the highlighter yellow would have made it easy for BU to avoid passing right to the Mack players. Maybe the whole team is colorblind.
 
Also, holy crap to M. Celebrini leading the league in scoring in his second year. It is a reminder of how spoiled we have been the last few years.
