Chris McCarthy done for the night. And he didn't score Vermont's goal...he was credited with it as the last Vermont player to touch the puck before Noonan deflected it. :) Though I'm not sure I should have a smiley there.......

Why can't BU clear it when they get control of the puck. Oy.

Terriers actually manage to win the face off but naturally its won and puck goes out of the zone.

That was a rather terrible call. Compounded by the fact that Dave Starman thought it was an ok call. That guy is an incredible dope.

Hardly matters whether it was a good or bad call given the Terriers weren't going to score.

And there's another one on BU. Which I'm sure was a fabulous call.

Does Hockey East have a contract/deal with CBS College Sports Network? Seems like I've seen more Hockey East games on this network than games from other conferences.

Edit - Hold that call, goal is being reviewed. UVM will be on the PP as well, goal or no goal.

Oh for the love of God....Vermont ties it up, Nicastro gets a penalty for pushing the net into the ref. They've killed every penalty so far, but Vermont will score here.

ETA - so wait - no Vermont power play?

Nicastro got a misconduct penalty for his attempt at relocating the net into the refs esophagus.
