BU at UMass 10/22/10

Re: BU at UMass 10/22/10

3 -1 BU. Sweet pass from Connolly to spring Pereira coming out of the penatly box for a clean breakaway goal.

Re: BU at UMass 10/22/10

Just like last week, BU is up two goals after controlling the play for the first two periods. Lets hope history doesn't repeat itself and BU can hold on and get the victory this week.

Re: BU at UMass 10/22/10

Are you saying he's too predictable? Or that the short side wasn't the right choice on that semi-break?

Both. If he could have gotten a half decent shot at the far side he could have scored. Teglia was protecting the short side. And I was watching for about three minutes and saw him shoot short side on both mini breakaways...he better learn something else or HE goalies will eat him alive.

Re: BU at UMass 10/22/10

That play by Clendening on the left wing rush just before the goal there is exactly what I was talking about in the BU thread about him being lazy. Had good position but stopped moving his feet and reaches with stick allowing good scoring opportunity.

I don't know if he has been lazy in general. I hadn't noticed it before, but he was definately lazy on that play.

A case of a freshman who's not used to having to put out full effort all of the time becuase of his talent, perhaps?
