This is my one criticism of Jay. Having those kids suit up as 6th d-men and not touch the ice. I mean ….

Eh - we don't know what he saw in practice. If he put the 5th and 6th d-men out there and they gave up the game winning goal we would be criticizing Jay for putting them out there.

I just read on QU’s thread they now have 4 goalies. What, the what?

I don't want to start any conjecture here but my guess is one of those other three is headed for the portal. But it is interesting. You would think with a move like this that he will be "expecting" to be their #1 next year. The team that just won it all. Makes you wonder who BU lands in the portal because that looks like a bigtime need. If Duplessis will be in some kind of time share at QU...isn't that what he could have expected at BU next year?

I am sure Duplessis like most D1 college players has aspirations at playing at the next level. If was going to be in a time share where do you think his stats are going to look better - BU or Quinnipiac? Of course Quinnipiac because they play a sound defensive system conducive to putting up some great goalie numbers. Its an odd move for sure but I get the reasoning.

I mentioned to a sports writer friend that sees a lot of college hockey in Rhode Island and Massachusetts that the Brown goalie Caron was headed to BU.
"Best college goalie I have seen in several years!"
I said, 'don't you mean Devin Levi?'
He said, "no, Caron is the best that I have seen in quite awhile. Great glove. He was tremendous, but few know about him because he was playing at Brown."

The sports writer is not one to practice hyperbole. I feel much better, because I trust his opinion.

Promising to hear. It will be a big jump up in competition compared to he played against at Brown.
