The puck got caught in the linesman's skates as it came up the far boards toward the Yale zone, interfering with O'Neill's ability to chip it ahead. Wolff came in to clog it up on the wall and took a hitting from behind call from Dell. Not really. Interference on the ref is more like it

2nd SHG in as many games for Bruno. Yale answered on the very same PP last night. delayed penalty on Brown.

:01 left on the initial call. Clemente stopped three stab attempts by Anderson after Kearney fed it to him down low.

Volpatti for a cross-check. And Dell just got drilled in the arm on a Brown clear attempt. Clemente has made about 7 saves now on the two PPs. Same PP units as last night for Yale.

Kearney just stoned by the glove of Clemente on a backhand right in front as PP expires. Save of the game.

It was pretty even through the first seven minutes, then Yale took over but Brown got that one SHG and Clemente has been in the zone again since the very beginning. 12-4 now in shots after being 3-3 after seven min

with a delayed penalty coming up on Brown's Harry Zolnierczyk for a high stick, Michael Wolff took out Brian O'Neill with a knee as he entered the Brown zone. Captain Ryan Donald took particular exception and got send to the box as well so it's just a one-mad advantage for Yale at 14:11

Arcobello with several good looks so far from his new spot on the point.

Now Jeff Anderson has replaced Broc Little on the top PP unit. Little down with MAson and Kearney on 2nd unit

Zolnierczyk out of the box and just as he comes out he dumps Kevin Peel to the ice with a crushing hit. No call as it looked clean. Peel couldn't get to his feet right away and drew a whistle. No dive folks, he looked concussed. WOuld be a big loss for Elis. Wouldn't be surprised if a review shows the hit to have been a little up high. Not sure but Peel's reaction says head shot.

End of the 1st. Brown 1, Yale 0 on the SHG by Jack Maclellan. Shots 13-5 for Yale. If you read my recap last night, Friday was Brown hockey and Saturday was Yale hockey. This more resembles Friday I would say, but Yale has shown more consistent spurts of playing their game, though they lost it a little at the end of the period.

This more resembles the games Yale had at the end of the regular season where it was only a matter of time before the floodgates opened. But another Brown goal could turn this into game 3 at RPI where the Bears build a lead and then work to hold on.

Only one man doing the game on the brown broadcast so limited color interruption there. So far its sounding like an unreal first period. I think the Brown guy already had a coronary.
