I heard from several people I know in ri hockey that it's pretty common knowledge that she's gone. If so, weird that there hasn't been an announcement. And if not, you would think there would be some kind of press release, next years schedule or rosters released, just to kind of reinforce that she's staying.

my guess is if she's gone....there are several lawyers working overtime to make sure the lawsuit is avoided [or minimized]...since that would be part of any departure that was not very carefully controlled [even with the stellar record she's produced lo these many years...JOKE!!

She was never the U18 coach. First year Harvard's Katey Stone had the team, second year went to Mark Johnson, third to Katy King, and last season to Jodi McKenna.

I'll give Dig some props. She-Brown were very successful up until 2005-06. I think some coaches don't change with the times and their coaching philosophy and have troubles. I think it also happened to Barto OSU.
I do feel both coaches were very good. Just never adjusted. Sometimes change is good. Assistants and of course the special player can also change things up.

Lawsuits....discrimination....gender..orientation...it all makes for a lot of fun in employment law.

Well if she decides to go that route, she better under stand that the school will contact every girl that has a problem with her for the last 15 years or so. And my under standing is that there were many many girls who went and complained about her too the AD. Nothing was done because the were affraid of what she would do.(law suit).But I think at this point the school is going to roll the dice and see what happens. IMO...

I know from a very reliable source that Coady will not stay if Digit is kept. The majority of the girls really liked Coady and I even heard a petition was submitted by the girls in support of him. Of course he is not going to be everyone’s cup of tea. Calls it the way he sees it. Maybe too blunt but heart in the right place. Hopefully Brown will make the right decision. Time for a fresh approach.

Everyone keeps mentioning lawsuits here like it is common knowledge, but I don't understam
Nd what the lawsuit would be about. Every single coach has a contract and they are at will employees. At most they would have to fulfill the terms of the contract.

Thanks Outdoors for the insight....I can't be objective as I know the Commander but as you say, he isn't everyone's cup of tea but he's genuine and has the best at heart...knows his hockey even if his delivery can be rough...Brown would be lucky to give him his chance if Digit leaves, but another trait of Coady's is loyalty....with that said, he has 2 good reasons to stay at Brown for a few years at least....best of luck Commander!

Zoofer, you are bang on with the last note in your comments. Based on what I heard this past weekend at Prospects, we should all be thinking of Sean and his family with what they are facing this week. My prayers are certainly with his family this week.
