Re: Brown @ RPI, Saturday, March 6th

Good job on the penalty kill again, especially in not allowing a shot while York was without his stick.

Re: Brown @ RPI, Saturday, March 6th

Brown penalty number 9-make them pay-do not take any chances and avoid a shortie

Re: Brown @ RPI, Saturday, March 6th

RPI scores-but it is called off due to penalties. RPI penalty number 8 and Brown penalty number 10

Re: Brown @ RPI, Saturday, March 6th

Great job by the boys-showed that they do indeed want to win this series. Tomorrow therer should be no excuse for anything but a great effort. We now guarantee a winning season!!!!

Re: Brown @ RPI, Saturday, March 6th

It took a while, but it finally looked like, of the two teams, RPI was the one that had finished five places higher in the standings.

Now they just have to make it look like that again tomorrow night.

Re: Brown @ RPI, Saturday, March 6th

I just got back from the game, and all I can say is its about time.
I have seen some very good games in person this season. Both Yale games, Quinnipiac in Connecticut and both Harvard games.
And this is the first time this season that we raised our level of play during the game.
The first period was ok, but we came out to play in the second and just got better as the game went on.
All the right players scored goals, it was great to see Cullen score. Pirri, Kerins and Polacek also put the puck in the net. The right guys at the right time.
Pirri is special. Forget the penalties, he plays with a passion that I haven't seen from an Engineer ever. (Ever only goes back to 1993).
I would really like to see him play for us for at least three years. Four would be a bonus.
D'Amigo looks tired to me. I think that the WJC has caught up with him. That said, Jerry at 80% is as good as anybody that Brown has.
If they come out like that again tomorrow, we will be playing again next weekend.
Just one more thing, did Baker go to the Mike Noeth school of officiating?
