4x4 coming up. There was a Brown penalty, but our player decided to run into the goaltender.

I'm a bit confused. Since the penalties were technically not co-incidental, why was the faceoff in the Brown zone?

From 81.2:

When a violation of a rule has been
committed by players of both teams
on the play resulting in the stoppage, the ensuing faceoff shall be made at the
point where the puck was when the stoppage occurred. If there is a differential
in penalties, the faceoff will take place in the defending zone of the team with
the additional penalty.

I understand that, and the rule I quoted accounts for that. We had "the additional penalty", so it goes to our defending zone.
