Re: Brown @ RPI , Friday, 2/13/15

Friday the 13th and I started the game thread --- is there any chance of RPI winning?

I won't start any more game threads this year if we lose.

Re: Brown @ RPI , Friday, 2/13/15

If RPI wins this game, they will be assured of finishing no lower than 10th place in the ECAC.

Hey, when the team's won three of its last sixteen, I'll look for inspiration any place I can find it. :)

Re: Brown @ RPI , Friday, 2/13/15

If you add up this season's thread starting stats, you come up with a record of 10-19-1. The team's record is 9-20-1. Somebody got a win instead of a loss (and I know it isn't me).

I started the exhibition game thread and gave myself credit. (I make the rules. :D ) I must have forgotten to include someone's loss.

If someone feels like checking on whose loss I forgot, please do so.

Re: Brown @ RPI , Friday, 2/13/15

I am on a one game winning streak which i will not likely risk until next year for the RPI game down here again at Princeton. I would of course be happy to start any thread this year in late March or April.

I'm the culprit, Ralph. I started last Friday's thread but was not charged with a loss.

Pretty incredible to think that this will be the 1st home game in just about 3 months (Nov.15) with students in attendance.

Re: Brown @ RPI , Friday, 2/13/15

MNM is back together. :) http://www.rpiathletics.com/documents/2015/2/13//RPI_Lines_BRO.pdf?id=2066

Scratches: Fulton, Gillespie, Bokenfohr, Bell, Hampton.

This is the line up I would like to see for each and every game if at all possible. If we cannot play well and win with this line up, then in my opinion, we cannot ever play well or win. I always feel hockey is all about match ups and I just feel this line up presents the opponents with some challenges to match up against more effective lines. Most teams(including us) just do not have the depth to match up well against more than 2 good lines. There are a few of the top teams that of course can. But our coaching has to take advantage of all of this when we play at home-we get last change and it is their job to make sure we have on the ice most of the time, the best line match up possible and our best matching defensive pair.

Edit: Ignore all of this if we cannot win close to 50% of faceoffs
