Brown @ RPI 11/14/15

Re: Brown @ RPI 11/14/15

Brown playing the same style as yesterday against Union. They were out shot but just kept it even and took advantage of one break in overtime. As we did last night, some really poor decision making on our part. Unlike last night when those decisions gave Yale good chances, tonight these decisions have not given Brown much advantage but has more often just stopped us from our own good chances. Several rushes up ice we have passed when we shout have just carried in deep and other times we have shot when we had trailers who had better chances to shoot. Hopefully we can settle this down in the next 20 minutes.

Re: Brown @ RPI 11/14/15

Second period ends 1-1. Shroeder has had three open shots at the goal and hasn't cashed in any of them.

We certainly have had chances but give credit to the Brown goalie who has played the angles well. We do need to elevate some shots though as it appears he has left the top of the net open at times.

Re: Brown @ RPI 11/14/15

I'm still convinced the only reason we scored in OT last night is because we took the shot. Everyone knows with us to expect the pass.

Re: Brown @ RPI 11/14/15

I think the officials are sitting down in their little room right now and have totaled up the penalties and wondering hoe they can first even it up and then give us that one extra. Brown will have to draw blood to get 2 more penalties than us.

Re: Brown @ RPI 11/14/15

RPI defense got undressed just now and it was threatening to happen several times earlier

Re: Brown @ RPI 11/14/15

I was about to remark on the complete lack of energy in the building, and all of a sudden RPI scores.

We'll see if that wakes things up a little bit.
