Sir Isaac Brock, for whom Brock University is named, and Stephen Van Rensselaer, for whom RPI is named, were the opposing commanders at the Battle of Queenston Heights, Oct. 13, 1812.

Brock won the battle in 1812. Let’s see if Rensselaer fares better on home territory.

Edit - I've been beaten to it.

That'll teach me to wait until 12:04 AM. :)

We need someone to add the tag "clarkson still sucks!" (the one with the exclamation point) this season on threads which I do not start because Flaggie has left. One can only add two tags if one does not start a thread.

Will be at the game. Not expecting much of a crowd as we have football and soccer also at RPI today.

The band had a little trouble getting started on The Star-Spangled Banner, but they got into it eventually.

Brock penalty for slashing at 6:22. RPI will go on the power play.

Engineers have had the better of the play up to this point, but no goals yet.
