Whenever a 20-something with any celebrity dies, my first thoughts are:

+ drugs and alcohol, by accident
+ drugs and alcohol, on purpose

We'll see. Weird that the 911 caller did not identify themselves.

I agree, that is the first thing that comes to mind, but you also see way to many of the cases where they have a heart defect or something like that, that no one knew about.

After rumors started circulating via the Internet late Saturday that Dio had lost his cancer fight, BLABBERMOUTH.NET reached out to Ronnie's wife/manager Wendy Dio, who sent back the following message at approximately 11:35 p.m. PST on Saturday, May 15 / 2:35 a.m. EST on Sunday, May 16:

"I am at the hospital and Ronnie has NOT passed away!!!! He is not doing
good, but he is not dead.

Not to be too morbid, but they're just bracing us for what's likely going to come soon. Then again, you have to be mortal to die and Dio is not a mortal. \m/
