No not actually. Good try though. I am not saying it is classy or anything but there is always going to be stuff chanted back and forth my friend. It is college hockey. It is meant to annoy BC kids/fans and it obviously does if it gets brought up on a weekend when we are not even playing them.

Let's look at this from another perspective. While some ardent Catholics probably were annoyed or offended, the BC fans here don't seem to be and are guilting you fanboys into discussing it. If you agree that it is not funny and shouldn't be said, you admit the fanboys are losers (duh... we already knew that anyway). This is the easy way out and best scenario but it's a fight against the nature of your fanboy DNA. Rule #1 about fanboy club is you never talk about fanboy club and rule #2 is everything you all do as fans should be commended and you are the paragon of college hockey fandom (including having pet names for your players and then rationalizing it is ok by comparing it to people calling Alex Rodriguez AROD). If you disagree and think it's ok and it is funny, you'll keep getting drilled on this and drag it on and make the fanboys look even worse to any rational BU fan (God help the good souls like mookie, Jofa, BU2K, and scarlet) and any other fan from around the country that might stumble onto the thread.

So either way, you fanboys lose. It's just up to you all to determine how bad you all look in hindsight.

Yeah like listing those 3-5 ways isn't going to get me banned for a few weeks real quick...haha. I think the way it is phrased now is perfect for its goal which is to annoy BC fans and tick them off. It does this quite evidently as we are still talking about it now. Is it the classiest chant in the world? No but will it stop because BC might get offended? Nope. That chant will stop the day BC kids stop acting like the arrogant punks that they all are and stop claiming to go to school in Boston. Yeah I didn't apply to BC because there is nothing attractive about the campus or school. They also don't even have an engineering program(which I was applying to schools for and BU has one of the best in the country) so get off your high horse about the academics there killer. I know plenty of kids who pick BU or other schools over BC. The only kids who go there are idiots who think the chance to lose to Duke and UNC in basketball year after year is something great. Plus you didn't even answer any of my points just go with the traditional "stupid fan boy" comments blah blah blah.

Oh nick we are going to have some good talks here...First, the chant will continue to go on because it is obviously in BC fans' heads. You bring it up when we re not even playing you this weekend or in the near future. I am not guilted into talking about it. I think it is hilarious that a "stupid" chant gets you so mad and bitter towards BU. The more I hear about how dumb the chant is the more I want it to happen just because I know it strikes a nerve with the superfrauds. Yes you may have beaten us four times this year but if we win in the HE tourny or in the NCAAs(if we make it I know it is a big if right now) then all the fanboys will forget about four losses before that. That is fine that im not a genius...I never claimed to be one here? I think all BC fans are arrogant frauds who only show up when the teams are nationally ranked or the games are on ESPN.

But yes I was born with a hatred of BC because you really believe that you are better than everyone else because you go to a Catholic school. I hate arrogance more than anything else and Bc is exhibit A of that. The fact that I go to BU just fuels the fire but I hated BC from as soon as I started following college sports.

Now that we settled that, I'll say that I like BU, I have family that has graduated from BU, and they happily accepted me early back in the day and gave me a nice school to fall back on while waiting for the BIG ENVELOPE from Chestnut Hill to arrive. Thankfully it did. Life is not just good, it's great.

We don't believe we're better than everyone else. We KNOW we're better than, at the very least, BU people with a few exceptions. And going to a Catholic school has nothing to do with the superiority of BC people. It is such a small part of what BC is all about. Most people there don't go to Church and a lot are not even Catholic.

That being said, that doesn't mean BC and BU people can't be friends and BU people can't be a civil, somewhat normal human being. There are many BU fans on this board that are absolutely fantastic people. Of course many of them are a bit older and don't post anymore because the mass migration of fanboys to this board over the last decade has freaked them out but the point remains. Put away the insecurities and stupidity and it's all fun and games and everyone can smile and laugh together over some drinks (and we do). And at the end of the day, if you're nice enough I might even offer you a job to hand out champagne at my next house party.

Second, We don't do it as PC because their fans dont travel to hear it and they are not a bunch of egotistical idiots who think they are better than everybody else.
Third, You have a few reasons to be bitter at BU. Actually 29(Beanpots)+5(NCs) which equals? You guys probably are too busy in religion class to do math but that equals 34 reasons to be bitter.
