eh, I've never been impressed with Quizno's. Overpriced for the quality. At least with Subway it's bad and cheap...Quizno's is just bad IMO.

I have never understood why someone would want to go to a Quiznos or Subway type chain for a subsandwich anyway. Just hit your local pizza joint and have them make it for you.

I have not stepped in one of those places in I dont know how long, I would guess at least 5 years.

As for Yip, my get well card is in the mail, who cares? :)

Over / Under on the amount of times Parker calls the ref over this weekend to slow the game down and complain about something useless +/- 25

Over / Under on the amount of times Parker tries to get his guys on the ice last Saturday night +/- 15

Over / Under on the amount of times the goal will get knocked off by a bu defender or goalie when NU is attacking this weekend +/- 10

Total Amount of goals scored combined this weekend +/- 12

This thread really hasn't gotten interesting enough yet. I know spring break may have something to do with it but come of fellas....

Oh so wait... hockey...
Should be an exciting time even though the seats will be rather empty. both will be determined to sweep. Both will be fighting for redemption after winless weekends. I'd like to think the guys at NU will be fighting for those points that they robbed themselves of last week. Not to mention BU will want to end the season on a high note after being swept by UVM...

It's anyone's guess here. I'd love to see a sweep for home ice here (...for NU of course), but it's going to be tough.

congratulations! you found one random ranking in which northeastern is ranked higher than BU! though judging by the stat that says "full-tme enrollment" listing both at <3,000 students, this clearly is not a ranking of the entire university and rather one program/college (a rather small one too) within each university. and this ranking clearly shows NU is falling while BU is moving up.

Good job! I was hoping you'd post here because anytime I see you post something, this is the only thing that comes to mind:

Not sure if you've ever heard of BusinessWeek. It's a small magazine that makes it to the stands every now and again somewhere in Wisconsin... but anyways, they come out with an annual study ranking the best undergrad business programs in the country. We should both be excited to make the cut.

Yes, I was worried that the tough working environment as of late would hurt us. A few of our big employers (Staples, John Hancock, P&G) hired fewer students this year than usual...

Maybe one day BW will get the 5-year-program memo... hah

You get hired by Staples?! Whopee!! But perhaps you should've done further research (or yours was just very selective in what you decided to cite.) You should've gone to this page: http://www.businessweek.com/bschools/rankings/ and clicked on the Full-Time MBA tab. See, ranking undergraduate business programs is as useful as ranking undergrad Pre-Med programs. If you're going to have a serious career in business, (or medicine, for instance) your undergrad work matters less than your graduate work.

Just in case you don't want to click on that link, I'll save you the time and tell you that Northeastern is in the "unranked" category. But hey, so is BC so you're all set!

Nope, never staples. Deloitte last year. GE FMP program this year. Look it up... it's pretty legit.

But perhaps you should've done further research (or yours was just very selective in what you decided to cite.) You should've gone to this page: http://www.businessweek.com/bschools/rankings/ and clicked on the Full-Time MBA tab.

Research, no. BW came out with their undergrad business reviews today at 5. I saw BU, I saw NU (not necessarily in that order ;) ) and I thought "hmm, let's make this thread more interesting than 'I dislike Subway sandwiches'" It wasn't that selective, it was what was in the news today. Doesn't hurt that I'm in an undergrad b-school myself... made me want to post it that much more.

Now I never said I dislike all Subway sandwiches, I just think they screw up their toasted ones unlike Quiznos. I happen to like their chicken breast subs that are untoasted.

Can't you just lettuce talk about hockey? There's a lot at steak this weekend, yet you can continue to pepper this thread with baloney. When these teams meat on Friday, the loser will find itself in quite the pickle entering the last day of the season. BU is trying not to lay another egg, while NU is trying to salt its wounds. Either one can enter the playoffs on a roll by bacon up a sweep.
