@BU 2615; @BC 1508; @MMac 1512; @VT 145*.. Way down all around..I think that it did ultimately turn into a bit of a slog after Maine scored is making us forget that BU did come out pretty heavy in the first 5 minutes. Mr Roll up above mentioned all the blocked shots. We had possession in their zone quite a bit at the start.
Any idea what attendance was like in other spots around hockey east this weekend.

Quite noticeable for sure. This has been and will be huge as the season goes on.One of the most noticeable differences (of many) compared to last year is that we're no longer constantly turning the puck over in our own zone.
Do the Maine faithful know that? Because they seemed to be extremely concerned about the very low attendance at Agganis this weekend even though it seems like there were more people at Agganis than the other rinks.@BU 2615; @BC 1508; @MMac 1512; @VT 145*.. Way down all around..
Wang has been very noticeable so far this season. Solid. Another thing I’ve noticed in the few games I’ve seen as the play has been pretty balanced overall. Someone earlier asked where Ritchie was this weekend. He had a great weekend earlier. Friday night there were seven different scorers. I’m liking this balanced scoring. One of the most noticeable differences (of many) compared to last year is that we're no longer constantly turning the puck over in our own zone.
Wang has been a really pleasant surprise. Nice to get a big contribution right away from a guy who's probably not one-and-done.
Seems like a little trend - everyone excited about Halloween? Why should they care about our crowd? While I’m disappointed more people didn’t turn out for this one , I think we all know there are a few more choices of things you can do on a Saturday night in Boston than in Orono, ME.Do the Maine faithful know that? Because they seemed to be extremely concerned about the very low attendance at Agganis this weekend even though it seems like there were more people at Agganis than the other rinks.
The game I wondered if it might have had 3 goal close to that was the 90-91 game against Michigan earlier in the season, where if memory serves, we built a 6-1 lead in the first period and lost 8-6 or something like that...yeesh!Never have I ever .... In the over 500 BU games I've watched seen 3 goals in the first 1:31. (How quick were the 3 in the third vs. Michigan State? The old timers know the game I mean.)
Looked like some schools played afternoon games because they were final or near-final when BU started.I think that it did ultimately turn into a bit of a slog after Maine scored is making us forget that BU did come out pretty heavy in the first 5 minutes. Sparty has nine 1st round picks on their roster. The Bruins have eight!Last night was the best I've seen the 4th line exert their forechecking/possession will all season.
Solid weekeend for sure. :et's see if the confidence gets them at least a split in East Lansing - will be tough!
