Richard... this would normally be taboo to uncap for a tie.... but in this instance...... BRING IT!!! A regular season crown is STILL an accomplishment. Why not toast it? Bigger fish to fry still, for sure, but this is not bad when no one expected a thing from this team...... and coming back from that horrific 2-6-2 start to win this? Well, pretty dam ned nice. And, UNH did not lose a single league game at the Whitt all yr. Protecting the castle? You bet!
Hi from Memphis, Chad! You missed a great 3rd period (I caught only the last 8 minutes or so of it, including the game tying goal).
Nice for a #4 pre-season pick to have finished on top of the regular season pile, even if only by a whisker.
I have to miss tomorrow (see post just a few below) -- hold the fort!!!

I was at both games last weekend and maybe it was not a fluke, but despite the low #s of fans at Matthews due to Spring Break, your fans were awesome. Great stuff and loved the renovation of your building. Very cool! Thanks for the kudos. Who knows? A match-up in the Quarters btwn the two could very well happen and you might be making another trip up to Durham.
PS... McNeely and Kraemer are two of the best forwards I have seen this year. I have seen every H.E. team at least once this year (I believe) on TV or live and those two are stellar. Nice recruiting by Cronin.

Am dating myself, but I remember Fernie Flaman coaching the Huskies against Charlie Holt's Wildcats in what had previously been Boston Arena (loved the upstairs seats!).
And there was a time way-back-when when I think it was actually the site of the Beanpot (my very first college hockey game as a fan...)

From an MC fan, congrats to the Widcats for another regular season championship! Maybe if my Warriors can move up in the standings a bit, they could avoid you guys (and BC) in the opening round.
Actually I find dating myself quite fun. I know exactly how much I need to drink before I can take advantage of myself
