I’m ok with reviewing anything that is worthy of a 5 minute major. Assuming they watch the replay and get it right (which assumes a ton in this league).Quite frankly, I’ve always been astonished with majors that were called a few seasons ago that weren’t even remotely close to a major. You’re kicking a guy out of a game and giving a team a straight up advantage of 5 minutes, you better be 100% sure of what you’re doing. But we were seeing a lot of “I think I saw” a major. This helps everyone get it right.

The fact they review in game hopefully changes the way players think out there. Keep it clean. Some head contact is certainly accidental but get in the routine of aiming lower etc.

For Men’s basketball, does anyone know which sections aretypically a “visiting teams fans” section at Conte?

For basketball I think that's probably every section

But no I do not know the official ones

Honestly, when I saw them carelessly ice the puck, I felt UNH was going to get lucky if they put a shot on goal and sure enough .....

After the game I drove quickly home thinking same old BC team of the last two or three seasons, stupid penalties, sloppy hockey mistakes, not enough shots on net or missing the net completely, bad decisions with the puck, etc

But glad next night at the Schneider they rebounded but they need to start stringing together a bunch of wins

Man, if only York still had Cav around!

4-4 record...refreshing after the way the last couple years have started.

Hopefully 5-4 after tomorrow afternoon 🦅

I would have drove down to Hartford if the game was at 7 pm instead of 3:30 pm

Unfortunately the football game 🏈is noon and not enough time to get to Hartford on time

Well, obviously UConn isn't very good, but THAT is how you take care of business against a team you're supposed to beat.

Having Hustko back is really huge, he is a real talent, his goal was all his, be bopped out of the corner, nice in tight backhand. Mc Bain had a slick move through the legs of a defender then ripped one between post and the glove. Could argue that the goalie should have had it but it happened so fast, I don;t think he thought he would shoot it. Good win, now go out and finish it this afternoon.

I noticed they tried spreading things out across three lines by splitting up Newhook and Boldy. Centers were:

Mattila
Boldy
Newhook
McLaughlin

That's intriguing as long as the wingers can keep up. Not even basing it on 6 goals but without Hutsko the 4th line was not even suitable for a regular shift. This current configuration with McLaughlin as your 4th center is a good lineup. I'd imagine Giles jumps in as a 4th line winger when he gets back.

Knight has really responded well the last three games. Hopefully they take care of business today.

Vermont doesn't have much going for it but it is still a long ride to a hostile arena. After next week the very tough part of the schedule is over and they could close out the first half of the year in reasonable shape. Don't forget they lost two 1-0 games, both without Hustko. He and Cotton are key to our offense, his absence forces York to scramble line 2 and 3. Nice to see Rasanen come alive, I always thought he should be scoring more because he is a smart gritty player, not top tier but a very solid forward. Get through the Gutt.

dman Timmy Lovell to BC for next year. With 4 seniors on d this year, knew they would be looking for someone. Supposed to be an elite talent but just very small. I'm fine with that. You can get by with a smaller dman in your lineup to help offensively.

Small or tiny. TL is listed at 5'5 and 130 pounds.
