Wow. Just wow. Never would I have predicted they'd drop a 10 spot on Northeastern. If they play like they did tonight, they can beat anybody.

6 teams could still finish ahead of BC but I don't think that means BC could finish 7th because some of those teams play each other:
UMass vs. UConn
UML vs. UConn
BU vs. UConn
BU vs. NU
What I won't begin to try and figure out is where BC stands in regard to home ice.
5 points to win title outright, drops to 4 if UMA and UML tie tomorrow. So if they do tie tomorrow BC could be in position to win the trophy at Agganis. One can dream...

I loved Petrecki, old school defenseman! He rag dolled Jones and set the tone for the game. If it were an NHL game it would have been a KO! I wish we had a defenseman like him this year!

Maybe it'll be like Pats/Jets in 2010. Pats win 45-3 in the regular season and of course lost in the playoffs

I feel this year HE from 1-8 will have a lot of parity
Each team is tough and a team like Maine swept BC at home
BC is very good but which team will show up each game or within a game which BC team shows up each period ?

The goal by Newhook was just picture perfect, I heard York say that Newhook reminds him of Krieder's in terms of speed, different style but just tremendous speed. Any coach would be freaked about the way NU played but few teams could have stayed with BC last night, they were all over the ice, looked like BC was playing with an extra man all night. Love the Freshman line, and they love playing with each other. There were several scores with pass out below the goal line, Mcphee's was the first, those below the line passes drive the goalie nuts, never sure where the puck is going. Goalie's head is on a swivel and bing it is in the net. Nice for the guys to take the night off and rest up. I don't think I have seen such a beat down at Kelley since Brian Gionta dropped five on Maine (in the first period!!!!) , not sure of the final score but it wasn't close. Sean's hair was on fire.

They absolutely crushed Wisconsin at home a few years ago. Can't remember the exact score, but it was a brutal BC beatdown.

I admittedly haven't seen BC play a ton, but this is what I think as well. I saw someone mentioned the Cale Makar aspect and maybe the Avs tell Newhook they are fine with Alex playing another year at BC, given how prepared Makar was.
