I'm here. Watching on NUXstream. Thanks NU. Pretty drunk as I've had to watch almost a full half of BC football. Now the real season starts. My cousin (by marriage) plays for Northeastern. Also, I'm drunk. Beer of the first period: Hofbrau Oktoberfest. Go Eagles.

Typical early season BC hockey so far... super messy. Colin Sullivan with a horrendous turnover behind his own net, tipped by Darcy, score by Boulanger... 1-0 NU.

Ferriero to Roy, 2-0 Northeastern. Can BC at least pretend to care early in the season? I look forward to hockey season and it's like it doesn't even start until February every year.

Northeastern takes an obvious charging penalty and BC scores immediately, Gaudreau to Whitney, 2-1 Northeastern with under 5 to go in the 1st.

Bill Arnold takes a hooking penalty with 1:12 left to go in the 1st, but then Roy takes a hooking penalty when BC threatens short-handed. 4 v 4. to end the 1st. BC continues to threaten but the period runs out, 2-1 Northeastern after 1.

BC off to slow start but within 1. Need to tighten up in the defensive zone. Growing pains with young defense but give it time. Nice goal by Whitney. Plenty of time left in game to make corrections.

15 to go in period 2 and we're 5 v 5 after a flurry of penalties. Both teams have missed golden opportunities this period.

Still 2-1 NU with 7:30 to go in period 2. Young BC defense is a turnover machine tonight.

Milner the only thing keeping BC in the game now as BC is getting badly outhustled. They better figure out how to play with a target on their backs as it's gonna happen all year.

Somehow hockey east still has bu-providence as yet to begin

After being down 2-0 early on the road, I'll take down 2-1 going into 3rd. Let's tie it up.

Miraculously, BC only down 2-1 after 2. Worst I've see BC play in a long time. Of course, the last time I said that was when BC got handled by Notre Dame in the 06-07 early season. Another thing I said that night was that Ben Smith played like a nerdy 7th grader forced to participate in gym class. We all know how that career turned out.

BC needs time to get the offense together this year. So much firepower gone and guys like Hayes and Arnold need to step it up on offense. It will not be easy but we need patience with this team.

Milner gives up a softie on a slapshot from outside the blue line. 3-1 Northeastern. Again, typical early season BC hockey.
