Bigger Dough For Some But Not For Others

If you look at the timing, those big contracts players were signing were never real. Management already knew that they were in the process of selling and that the contracts would void.
 
If that can be proven true, those players could bring a major lawsuit. You can't offer a contract saying one thing when you know the terms on your end not be held up. I'm not a lawyer but have read enough to know about "good faith" when entering into any agreement
