I'm sure DU & North Dakota would be thrilled to be abandoned by the Big 10 and then would gladly schedule the schools that stabbed them in the back with non-conference matchups.Who says we still can't play UND and DU if a Big Ten conference is formed? There will be plenty of non conference opportunity and an effort can be made to get those teams on our schedule each year.
Maybe not DU, but UND would definitely schedule both of them. They are the two biggest draws everytime they come to The Ralph, and the games vs. UND certainly draw well at Mariucci and the Kohl...I'm sure DU & North Dakota would be thrilled to be abandoned by the Big 10 and then would gladly schedule the schools that stabbed them in the back with non-conference matchups.
I don't think I've ever neg repped a Badger, but I may have to consider it in your case.
Some of you Big Ten fans are so incestuous about it you lose sight of everything.
and I would expect a good BT volleyball game to get better ratings.
I still think that bullpucky because if I'm not mistaken, the first live game ever broadcasted was Appy State at Michigan for football. If they really to fill the hole they have on friday nights, then they should start broadcasting the games, period. This weekend alone, you got UMD at Minnesota, Wisconsin at St. Cloud, Bowling Green at Michigan and Ohio State at Ferris State. Pick one of the four games and send a truck there. I'm sure the administations of St. Cloud and Ferris would probably bend over backwords to get a game broadcasted on the BTN.What I expect the BTN really wants is a Friday night game between BT teams, with BT bragging and conference standings on the line. There is a lot of difference between two BT teams playing against each other, with conference points on the line, then watching Ohio State play the Quinnipiac Bobcats. The non college hockey fans have never heard of the CCHA, the WCHA or the Quinnipiac Bobcats, and I would expect a good BT volleyball game to get better ratings.
If volleyball gets better ratings, I think its because of things that have nothing to do with sports.

Now that would be like Bacon covered in Chocolate. Now, if volleyball just had cheerleaders.....

and on a stick.
The good games are already broadcast, so that leaves these, which are weak by BT standards.
Man, I want to go to the minnesota state fair now...
Just a tip, the best food there: Bacon Wrapped Turkey Tenderloin at the summit stage. You are required to get a beer and eat while sitting down.
Here's an idea:
If there's enough Western schools that want to form a league
Now, if volleyball just had cheerleaders.....
There aren't. Call back once Gonzaga, OSU, Oregon and Cal sign on, because even if you get DU and CC you're still not bringing Air Force over.
