The strategy of putting fakes out there to smear hunter is working on some, but I heavily suspect it’s the Fox News crowd who were dump base anyway.
an older guy on my next door last night screaming at people about how stupid they were to vote for biden, the most corrupt candidate in the history of politics, and did you see his sons hard drive??

On Fox News it is pretty staggering how Fox News Sunday their flagship mainstream political show of the week and not on the bubble Fox News Network spent the entire hour two weeks in a row on Biden's Court Packing. And Wallace was all in on it. He was so earnest like it was the worst thing he had ever heard in his life.

Meanwhile, nothing this President has EVER ALREADY DONE has garnered such disgust from the long time reporter.

I would pay money to hear Sam Elliott read literally anything!

This.

So Rudy turned over the hard drive to the DE state police, who punted to the FBI due to "credibility issues".

I.E. The DE state police wisely said "keep us the f out of your bullsh|t".

Also, Rassumussen is typically R+2/3, so showing Trump approximately even in OH should be horrifying to Republicans (or relieving?).

IINM the 538 House Effect for Rasmussen is R+5.

Their usual game is to use registered voters until the final month, then switch to likely voters so they can show R "improvement." Their polling methodology is also heavily (and deliberately) biased towards Republicans. They are a Republican organ, not a real pollster.

"On Monday, the firm Medium Buying reported Trump was canceling ad buys in Wisconsin; Minnesota, which Trump had hoped to flip; and Ohio, which went for Trump in 2016 but now appears to be a tight contest."

It is probably not a good sign that Trump is pulling out of all these states. He already pulled out of Michigan as well. You hate to see it...

The only reason for him to pull out of Ohio is if the campaign is truly short of money. Which, given the report that they blew through a billion bucks in the last several months...

Even then, though, you can't pull out of one of the crux states. There's no way for him to win if he doesn't win OH because it means MI, PA, and WI are also gone.

Never losing sight of the fact that Dump's team are incompetent, I think they made this calculation: "the only way we win is if the polls are wrong by 6+ points. If so then OH is clinched. So let's move that money to places like PA which may be knife edge."

It's a long, long longshot, but it is at least rational decisionmaking.

They ordered only $55 million in campaign ads for the last two weeks, spread out over 11 states.

If they had more money than that, you can be sure they'd be spending it at this point.

The funny part about that is Faux wouldn't even touch the story which is why it ended up in the Post. I am sure they covered it after the fact (because they are then at least partially shielded) but they knew it was likely all BS and put them at risk (since Rudy and Bannon were the sources) so they refused to be the news breaker for it.

Scoob,

Mayor Pete destroyed Wallace about the court packing BS. I know some on the Left think Wallace is some bastion of credibility and praise him to high heaven but he is a full blown Faux d-bag who just so happens to hate Trump enough to sometimes do what is right. If he was a Senator he would be Murkowski or Collins before she went full crazy during the McRapey Confirmation.

How many million did they spend on campaign ads for the DC market, just so Donnie could see them on the tv, and be pacified?

They are trying to get other groups to buy ads for him...I believe the AP mentioned Sheldon Adelson. Of course they are also bragging about the "door knocking" they are doing and of course the rallies.

Besides the grifting (and you know some of that money in Jhina was syphoned off) those rallies probably cost a lot of money. It aint cheap to pay a few thousand people $12 an hour.

I'm guessing the Trump campaign is using all their money in online ads. I haven't looked it up, but you simply can't escape a Trump ad on YouTube, Google, Instagram, and Facebook. Literally every site is wall to wall Trump videos. I'm willing to bet that these ads are more effective than buying TV ads too.
