Over the years I have seen lots of RPI teams and used lots of descriptions about them. This may well be the first time that I have seen a team that is both sloppy and lazy at the same time. 40 minutes and we have made more mistakes than i can count and 4 of them have cost us. Bentley has not been mistake free-but it does not seem to matter as we are nowhere near the puck when they do.

And the guy whom I picked for Bentley in the PtC hasn't figured in the scoring. :eek:

More than 4 mistakes have cost us. There were at least 3 on the third goal alone. :rolleyes:

This is the kind of situation where the smartest thing for a coach to do might be to not even go into the dressing room between periods. Let the team stew in their own juices and maybe somebody steps up and provides some leadership. It's not like you should have to tell them how they are screwing up.

Really cannot understand why the students were chanting "You suck" in response to the little ditty the band was playing at the start of the third period.

If the team that's beating our team by four goals sucks, what does that say about our team?

I would add to my previous description-timid. I do not recall an RPI team that has taken the body less well. Special teams are usually are weak spot for us but you cannot be -3 on special teams in a game and expect to compete.

BTW, no points by any of our recruits either today yet although Alec Dillon appears to be cruising to an easy win over the U17 team.
