Re: Bentley Falcons Official 2011-2012 Thread

According to http://eliteprospects.com/team.php?team=2319 , the Falcons have the following players committed:
Max French, F, Westside Warriors, BCHL, 7 Oct 1992, Westbrook, B.C., 5'9", 170#, 48 Ga, 25 G, 14 A, 83 PIM
Andrew Gladink, F, Nanaimo Clippers, BCHL, 7 March 1991, White Rock, B.C., 6'0", 185#, 59 Ga, 29 G, 30 A, 23 PIM
Kyle O'Brien, D, Cushing Academy, 23 March 1993, 6'0", 179#, no data for 2011-2012, 30 Ga, 6 G, 13 A, 0 PIM for 2010-2011
Mark Meads, F, Valley Jr. Warriors, EJHL (via Tabor Acad), 16 March 1992, Middleton, Mass., 5'6", 161#, 27 Ga, 5 G, 10 A, 54 PIM
Tyler Krause, F, Westside Warriors, BCHL, 15 Sept 1991, Kelowna, B.C., 5'11", 170#, 24 Ga, 12 G, 17 A, 28 PIM, and 27 Ga, 23 G, 18 A, 26 PIM for Okotok Oilers, AJHL
Matthew Bloomquist, D, Coulee Region Chill, NAHL, 6 March 1991, Blaine, MN, 6'1", 181#, 44 Ga, 6 G, 16 A, 17 PIM
Jesse Petito, F, New Jersey Hitmen, EJHL, 2 July 1991, Ronkonkoma, NY, 5'9", 161#, 24 GA, 8 G, 12 A, 48 PIM
Jordy Trottier (is he coming back, as played for Bentley during 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 seasons?), Boomington Blaze, CHL, 5 Nov 1988, Bozeman, MT, 5'11", 181#, 38 Ga, 4 G, 6 A,, 29 PIM

Also, at this site, two Bentley alums are followed:
Dustin Cloutier, F, Augusta River Hawks, SPHL, 20 Ga, 10 G, 23 A, then Kalamazoo Wings, ECHL, 34 Ga, 9 G, 4 A
Bobby Preece, D, Quad City Mallards, CHL, 60 Ga, 6 G, 9 A, 75 PIM

That is correct on Trottier.

He transferred out to the CHL this year and played for the Bloomington Blaze. Apparently he's coming back. He'll fit the instigator role nicely. My only problem is that he has a -9 in Bloomington.

I'm really excited Gladiuk; that's kid's got some SERIOUS talent.

Hey, Humanoid, No comment on Bobby Preece getting his PIM/game down to about 1.25? :)

That's completely and utterly upsetting. I love Bobby because he was the human penalty. If he's not going to the box, then I demand him drop the gloves at once twice in a game. He is the immortal Human Penalty Bobby Preece for that reason alone.

You just ruined my day because I didn't even notice that :(:(:(

I guess my only concern about Trottier is that I thought the CHL was a pro league. If he went to the CHL, how can he return to the team? Unless it holds true for the CHL the same way that minor league baseball holds true for college eligibility?
