Bentley Falcons 2019-20: The Future is Now

Re: Bentley Falcons 2019-20: The Future is Now

Where to next?

Either AIC or Sacred Heart depending on today's Robert Morris/Holy Cross game. If RMU wins, Bentley goes to AIC and RMU to Sacred Heart. If Holy Cross wins, Bentley goes to SHU and CHC to AIC.

Happy to have gotten through Canisus with relative ease. I was at both games back in Jan where they blew 3 goal leads to lose in 2OT or SO. Onto AIC!

I'm cautiously optimistic about the Jackets' chances against the Falcons, but I'd have preferred AIC play RMU instead. Bentley looked pretty good Friday night.

If there is a 2020-21 season and if NCAA next month approves transfers to play immediately, rising junior A.J. Villella from NU could be on blueline for Falcons this coming season.

Hopefully AJ gets a chance to take it to his old squad! It would be a shame if there isn’t a 2020-21 season. Bentley was scheduled to host BC, BU and NU... The rink really starting show some ROI. Can you imagine 3 blue bloods coming to the JAR in the same season?!

Sigh. I think that we will be lucky to see an in-conference only schedule during second semester this coming season. I was surprised that we visited Mathews this past January instead of hosting the Huskies. Maybe the Falcons can host BC, BU, and NU in 2021-2022 if it comes to shortening the schedule in 2020-2021?
