Mitch Jones is in the lineup tonight for the Cats. No Shine... as anticipated. Doan in net.

How the hell do they wave that off? It was clearly a goal. The replay footage shows the puck in the net well before it came off. NMU got robbed by tonight's officiating crew. #****ed

Hard to tell what the call was there. If they determined that there was a quick whistle, they wouldn't go to replay. The only possible answer would be goalie interference, and I didn't see glaring evidence of that on the stream.

Well... We need a win tonight. Zebras can't be making calls like that right in the middle of playoff implications. Unbelievable.

I hope NMU plays like they did the last half of the game. They turned up the intensity. A bigger crowd should help with motivation too.

I was out at 6 this morning. Couldn't see a foot out of the windshield. Hasn't let up at all either. Parts of M28 and 41 closed. Back roads are the alternate.

Last I checked however the storm is supposed to end at 10 PM.

The bulk of the storm is east and south of Marquette. Check the radar, it's still pretty breezy, but not much additional snowfall. The tough part of the decision for Bemidji is that once you get past Ishpeming heading west (about 15 miles), there's no place that could accommodate a party of that sized until you get to Wakefield 135 miles away.

10 minutes before puck drop and there might be 200 fans at the Berry. Yeesh

Edit: Decent turnout after all considering the weather. I guess I was too early. They did cancel the kids singing the Star Spangled Banner though. We got an mp3 instead.
